I made a DIY Bunny Ear Mirror! Ever since February flipped on the Calendar, I’ve had the urge to create again. I thought I’d start small with a new DIY for June’s rainbow nursery. It has really become a bunny den, because she is straight obsessed with bunnies though, so a bunny centered craft made sense.
I’ve been focusing on short-form video a lot more these days. It’s easier for me to produce with the amount of time I have to work with (not much), and it allows me to convey certain techniques or processes a bit better.
What do you need to make bunny ears?
For this DIY you’ll need a few things, and many of them you likely already have:
- hot glue gun
- scissors
- fabric scraps (0.25 m will do the trick, depending on the size of the ears)
- ribbon
- mirror
- floral wire with a thicker gage
Speaking of video, catch the quick tutorial below.

I could have also added a loop behind it for better hanging options but for now I want it slightly out of reach because June is in maximum destruction mode.

I found the perfect spot for the mirror on her styled bookshelves. Nestled in and amongst the Nancy Drews and mushroom night light.

I briefly toyed with the idea of adding it to her dresser (at her eye level) but she ran up to it, and yanked it off the knob. In the interest of avoiding shattered mirrors, it went back to the bookshelf.
