Halloween Playhouse Makeover

Remember our adorable little MCM playhouse? Well, I hope you expected me to make it over for spooky season because that’s exactly what I did! Using 3 easy DIYs, I turned out cute playhouse into a witchy haunt where Glendora would be proud to hang her hat.

*Fiskars sponsored this post, but all thoughts are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that make PMQ for two possible.

When we started, the playhouse was already adorable, but since we won’t be doing much yard decor for Halloween this year, I wanted to put on a bit of a show for June herself.

DIY Paper Bats

I made these bats using card stock and some The Original Orange-handled Scissors . I didn’t want to buy any, so I used an older bat and made a template that I then cut out by hand. I’m able to add as many or as few as I’d like.

The best tool to carve foam pumpkins

Because this is a playhouse, and I want her to have spooky vibes all year-long, I carved some foam pumpkins from my collection.

I used the Fiskars Comfort Detail Knife to get such great carving abilities, kind of like my stacked pumpkin topiary from last year.

DIY Witch Brooms

I made these using some craft and foraged supplies, and you can too! It’s never too late to make a witchy broom.

Halloween Playhouse Makeover

So here it is! A witchy Halloween playhouse makeover, made with love using Fiskars DIY Precision Tools. And three little witches, ready to enjoy the madeover space.

And yes, that’s an action shot of June falling down.
