Surprise surprise, I changed our bedsheets again and wanna tell y’all about it. I partnered with Crane and Canopy to bring a new duvet cover into the mix, but also on the most amazing jammies ever, and I wanna show you.

The Nova duvet cover
I was just gonna get a regular duvet cover, but I noticed they had a new one called the Nova. It gives you the look over the folded over sheet, without actually having to fold over a sheet.
As someone who has precisely 0.2 seconds to make her bed each day – babies are time consuming – I’m all about the look without the extra time it takes to fold it over.
If it was as simple as just folding the sheet over, I wouldn’t be bothered, but between Bruce and the two cats, no bed stays made. So having the “look” actually be part of the cover is a huge plus.
As you can see here, in a pic from the glam floral bedroom unveil last winter, I’m actually a fan of the folded over look.

The Harper print – the mighty polka dot
This past summer I went white and yellow with the bedding, and then in the fall I threw a very floral comforter into the mix – as you can see in my pom pom wreath post – but polka dots are where it’s at. When I saw the Nova in the Harper print, I knew it was meant to be.
I’ve used the print several times, and always find myself going back to it. I love the preppy simplicity of it, and I think the classic black and white is all that’s needed.
It isn’t a grid of polka dots, it’s a more random scattering of them, but it still feels deliberate, so my eyes don’t twitch. More importantly, it flors
Colourful Preppy Updates
I’m always and forever moving things around in the bedroom, so I think the pink floral stool from the bathroom, actually works really well here. It’s a stepping stool for the older kitty, and serves as an extra ledge for books. I dig it.
Coupled with some new bedside table styling, I’d say we’re in business.
Let’s talk about those monogrammed jammies. I got The Layla monogramed loungewear in black, and am in love. They’re so soft, super comfy (not waistband that rolls down) and I find they fit true to size.
They’re also perfect for lounging on the bed and chatting on the phone for hours on end.
