Zombie Brains Cocktail

Is it too early for Halloween? Because I definitely have Zombie Brains in the fridge, and I wanted to share the recipe with you! This Jackson Morgan Southern Cream Cocktail is easy to make, and can be served as a shot or in a dessert cup – up to you!

* Jackson Morgan sponsored this post, but all thoughts are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that make PMQ for two possible.

Brains! Brains! Actually, just a Zombie Brains Cocktail, made with Jackson Morgan's Southern Cream - don't forget the gummie worms!

OK so a big part of the sell here is the choice of glassware, but it would still look pretty cool in a regular shot glass. If you feel like going all out with a glass skull cup – don’t let anyone stop you.

I know I’ve made some complex recipes using Jackson Morgan Southern Cream, but this one is dead easy. I recommend pre-making your jello. Don’t wait till the day-of, you want it to be set.

Zombie Brains Cocktail Recipe

All you need is jello, whipped cream, gummy worms and Jackson Morgan in a complimentary flavour.

I made a raspberry jello, and used Banana Pudding Cream and Whipped Orange Cream for my cocktails. But any of the fruity flavours would go well with most standard Jello flavours. Get adventurous!

Once your Jello is set, whip your cream! You can take this a step further and make boozy whipped cream like I did for the Boozy Peach & Cherry Pie recipe.

Now that you’ve got everything, time to start assembling! Start scooping Jello into your cup (or shot glass). I use and icecream scoop – easy!

The reason you’re scooping it into the cup, instead of setting the Jello in your glass of choice, is that once you add the Southern Cream the jello will look like floating brains!

Don’t forget the gummy worms! You can layer them in as you scoop Jello, or just dump them in at the top.

I’ve got Whipped Orange Cream here, but also wanted to try Banana Pudding Cream!

Fill your glass with Jackson Morgan Southern Cream, top with whipped cream, more gummy worms and voila! A Zombie Brains cocktail.

Did you see my post last year about ways to decorate your home bar for Halloween?

Or my post about throwing a Retro & Colourful Halloween party? While this year’s events will look dramatically different nothing is stopping you from celebrating with your bubble family.

This guy over here enjoys a good Zombie Brains Cocktail, and I may have to saddle up and enjoy one with him.
