Like I said above, I used the recipe from Cooking & Cooking // here //, but I made a few modifications which I’ll list here
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips –> I nixed these in favour of sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract –> plus a little bit of vanilla bean
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- pinch of nutmeg
- sugar, optional (depends on your taste) –> 2 tablespoons of sugar
For marhsmallows, you need need need to follow this recipe by Ina Garten // here //
Step 1: Mix all the dry ingredients together in a small saucepan.
Step 2: Add in the vanilla Extract, and a hint of vanilla bean.
Step 3: Add in the milk! Stir and whisk as you go. Ideally you should be doing all of this over a stove, so make sure you do that otherwise it will be cold!
Step 4: Pour and garnish with a homemade marshmallow!
