Colourful & Magical Fall Dining Room

I love a good seasonal tour, and after yesterday’s DIY colourful cornucopia centrepiece, I thought I’d continue the good vibes with a tour of the studio’s colourful & magical fall dining room.

See, I’m hosting a fun dinner party in the studio and I got all my stuff together to set the tablescape (which you get to see soon), and then fell in love with my Colourful & Magical Fall Dining Room. Even with plates stacked, pumpkins lined-up, and glasses just sitting there – it all looks great.

Let’s be honest though, fall is just a prelude to Halloween, so there are little pops of magical, and spooky whimsy throughout. My Hocus Pocus mirror tutorial goes live tomorrow, so if you’re curious about that (or just want the cut file) stay tuned!

How cute is the little cat face? These die cuts were at Michael’s, and I purchased a few to sprinkle throughout my decor. I think they add a fun little pop of colour. Don’t you just love how the blue goblets pop against pomegranates?

I had to remove my giant pumpkin (snagged at Homesense for 24.99$), in order to set the table though. I’ve got a few shots to hint at the magical colour and fall tablescape I’ve got in store (without giving it all away), so take it all in! and then come back next week to see how it all came together.

Hint: It all starts with my DIY Colourful Cornucopia Centrepiece. There’s still time to make your own, so make sure you check it out to grab the deets! You don’t want to leave this until the day before thanksgiving.

And then of course there’s the sideboard situation. Remember my DIY Spoonflower IKEA Sideboard hack? It’s a big part of the magical dining room, if only in that it’s a functional sideboard, and we all need one of those.

OH, and the fun vinyl decal on the tray? Another tutorial coming at you soon. Make sure you click through on the other tours to see what everyone is up to this fall! And make sure you tell them how much you loved my Colourful & Magical Fall Dining Room.
