Have you been following me on instagram lately? If you have, you’ll have seen #MyBoldHues start appearing in my captions and a photo or two…or 284 (at the time of this writing). That’s right! My IG friends and I started a hashtag! I don’t even know if you can technically “start” a hashtag, but we did and we hereby stake our claim for it! *flag waves in the distance over saturated and colourful scenes
#MyBoldHues is a combination of our favourite hashtag series and something all our own. We’ll be sharing our favourites on the blog, regraming the ones that speak to us, and overall basking in all the hues.

This first one is from George at @ModernPups. I’m getting my dose of MCM and dogs from his feed. He lives in a beautiful MCM home and shares photos that offer a glimpse of some beautiful pieces in an appropriate setting. I also love dogs.

Brynne from @the_gathered_home did it again with this throwback to her previous master bedroom. I love the pink walls, the art, the rug, and the bed frame. In short, there isn’t much that I don’t love from this blogger’s home or IG feed. One to follow in case you aren’t already! Also, I love cats.

Gwen from @themakerista is another favourite. I am consistently in awe of her design and eye for colour. If I am bold and bright and sometimes dizzying, her use of colour is measured, impactful and balanced. She is #goals. This peek-a-boo of her nursery is some major inspiration for sure. Call this filled away for future reference.

@Claire_brody has been another design influence for a few years now. She’s far more minima than I am, but her use of traditional elements is perfection. I’m also a sucker for any room with Janet Hill Studio prints // here // .
