So this year, because we were crazy busy in the run up to the holidays, we didn’t get our christmas cards out. I had carefully picked through the boxes of cards on deep clearance last holiday, to find the perfect cards for this year. I was ready! Unfortunately the holidays got in the way.
With the few spare moments I had, I was scouring etsy for some last minute gifts and came across Sparkvites‘ store and instantly fell in love with this custom return address stamp. It’s a great size, and I love the crest. It’s a clean and uncomplicated aesthetic, but whimsical enough that it looks hand-written. I love it!
I’m a sucker for hand-written notes and sending cards by snail mail. There’s something so heart warming about getting a hand written note or a seasonal card. It’s more personal than a text or an email, and with the fantastic art on cards and stationary these days, it’s hard to go wrong! I actually end up framing some of my favourite ones.
However, when I’m doing a batch of cards and notes, I hate having to write-out my return address, and only because I can never remember the postal code. We move so much that I can barely remember the area code from 2 moves ago. Who would blame me though! With the custom return address stamp, I just ink it, and stamp it. Boom! taken care of.
Anywhoo, I contacted Sparkvites on etsy about the stamp and they have offered 10% off this stamp style for you guys! Use code TENVITES at check-out.
They’ll send you a proof to approve before production, and you’ll receive it in the mail shortly thereafter.
Now that I’ve got my custom return address stamp, I’m using it with our New Years card. I found this awesome print at Walmart in their holiday clearance, and just sent my first 20 cards out! If you’re getting one of them – you are most welcome!
If you’d like to receive one, contact me with your address! I love to establish mail correspondence with people, it’s a blast!
Make sure you take a spin around their store and see what else they have! They have a whole bunch of different styles for stamps, and even do prints and wedding invites. If I wasn’t already married I would be looking at their cards… seriously.
Do you have any snail mail necessities?
